Dream Date Cannes, Poster and Festival Update

We’ve been very busy with Dream Date over the last few months.

We had this poster designed by talented Kaya Simson using the fantastic photo taken by stills photographer Veronica Trickett. We are really pleased with how it has turned out.

We also took Dream Date to the Cannes Short Film Corner. It was our first Cannes. In the beginning it was incredibly daunting but by the end of our 4 days there we felt like old hands. Petit Majestic was our home away from home!

We used the same image for the poster as our Short Film Corner catalogue image and we are sure this helped us get a lot of views. We had a great response from other filmmakers, distributors and film festival programmers. You can view our entry here:

Here’s what some of them said:

Dream Date “is really edgy, fun and beautifully shot.” “very funny and witty.” “a good little story, nice funny twist at the end”

We have also been sending Dream Date into festivals around the world and will start hearing back in August. It is such a great story for parents everywhere and we are eager for more people to see it!

Dream Date has so far taken us on such a fun journey and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.

What else is possible?

PS -We just heard that we have been selected by the Paris Feminist and Lesbian Film Festival. Yay!!!
