A really good read, your writing style made it really easy to feel what Annie was feeling all the way through; excitement, love, confusion, grief... could go on!

A really heartbreaking ending - although we know something is wrong when he comes in, it still takes us by surprise when the revelation comes. I felt as crushed as those roses did...
