First Edit
First cut: Producers notes for the filmmakers
- It’s overlit in places and needs some grading to make it more cinematic
- Needs foley as the world feels acoustically empty
- Needs sound effects, for instance when the bad guy hits the deck – should be crack or crunch, it should hurt

work heavily on your sound design and grading. it's way overlit plus you can cut out a few shots.

I liked the start, then things kind of got off track when the pimp drove up (which was underlit). The couple points that are too bright you can rework with vignetting or the like. You may be able to spot highlight the pimp's car to brighten him. When the kid steps in front of the pimp we're looking at the back of his head. Instead, cut away to someone's reaction (even the other kids) or if you don't have that go to a close up on the girl using the same footage. The slow mo bit doesn't work for me, just feels cheesy. The running away and driving away seems drawn out. Good start otherwise.

Like everyone else I think its to overlit. Its quite a grimy story and should be told that way. Think if you tone down the light and add some stronger sound in places it will improve the film greatly.

I noticed that you didn't credit anyone doing sound, maybe you should look into that for next time. just a thought.

Like the legs, definitely not too long! I like the song you've chosen it sets it of nicely.

I think you have to work with the fighting...to make it more real

Spotted the extra shot as the pimp turns on the lad and a much shorter end. Well recovered!
